This was another design sprint I did, focusing on shaping my UX design skills and rapid prototyping using various softwares. I’ve always been an avid fan of BuzzFeed’s WorthIt show, where the hosts go to different restaurants to eat similar foods at 3 different price points to see if the food is worth it at its given price. Recently, they made a trip to Taiwan and did a short series on food not only in the main capital, Taipei, but also in more rural and hole in the wall shops.

I was inspired by this because I saw in the comments of the videos and heard from friends that they always wanted to know more about Taiwan and visit, but didn’t know where to start and didn’t think they could get around without being able to speak and read the language. I quickly did some research on BuzzFeed’s branding, colors, fonts, and their current app. Since they have so many divisions within them, such as not only WorthIt but also Tasty, Unsolved, etc, they didn’t have a specific app for WorthIt but only an overall BuzzFeed app.
