Hi, I’m Melody!

I’m a UX Designer based in the Bay Area working on AI creator tools on YouTube Live. Previously, I was part of Growth & Premium Buyer Experience at Google One ,and Growth Monetization at HubSpot, working on the 14-day Trials experience. And before that, at Teuida, building Korean language learning experiences.

I'm also a graduate of Northwestern’s business school, the Kellogg School of Management, and for my undergraduate degree, I studied piano performance and human-centered design at Northwestern University.

Since a young age, music has always been my creative outlet. I’ve been playing piano and violin since I was 4 years old, and music has always been a part of me. However, I was introduced to the human-centered design process while at Northwestern, and was fascinated at how music and design intersected. The goals are similar in that they are both able to create human relationships and interactions through empathy, creating delightful experiences for others.

Outside of work, you can catch me producing music and arranging covers for my YouTube channel, running my sheet music shop, playing in the Googler Orchestra, and taking photos (my recent favorite is my Fujifilm xt30-ii).
